Smoke School

This training school on EPA Test Method 9 is primarily for Kentucky Division for Air Quality and Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District personnel.

Announcement

The Division for Air Quality will not be conducting its sessions of Visible Emissions Evaluation Training during 2008 except for those where the enrollment is limited to our field inspectors and those from Jefferson County.

Training is scheduled for April 7-8 and October 6-7

  • Lecture is scheduled on the first day of each training from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.  Certification is scheduled from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
  • All-day certification is scheduled for the second day (8 a.m.- 4 p.m.)

Smoke school registration forms for "Original Kentucky Certification" must be received at least one month prior to the sessions to allow time for the course materials to be sent to the applicant. Please indicate on the registration form if you want confirmation of registration. PDF and MS Word.
