On March 3, 2008, the Kentucky Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet’s Division for Air Quality submitted to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) a proposed State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision that includes the pre-hearing draft of Kentucky’s Regional Haze SIP, which documents reasonable progress goals for Kentucky’s Class I area Mammoth Cave National Park and includes best available retrofit technology (BART) determinations.  The cabinet will conduct a public hearing on this proposed SIP revision on April 7, 2008, at 10 a.m. (EDT) in the conference room of the Division for Air Quality, 803 Schenkel Lane, Frankfort, KY.
